Status

For those out there following my progress, thank you for your interest! Here’s the scoop: my week off work didn’t help much (subjectively). I’m still plugging away as much as my discipline allows.

Current analysis shows 21 scenes left at an average of 1,011 words each. If I keep that up, the finished draft should be 106,000 – 107,000. I can cut as many as six scenes and still hit my target.

This is Wednesday, January 14th. I have 85,000 words typed, and I’m signing off to try to write 1,000 more before I sleep like I did yesterday.
