    • This alternate history scifi looks at the push for space colonization following a large meteor strike that destroys much of the US’s East Coast in 1952. It has a Hidden Figures vibe and captures both the necessity of spaceflight, as well as some of its bitter realities.

    • This sweeping space opera is fantastic for watching characters with sheer audacity in a delightfully well-developed world full of clashing cultures, history-bound characters, and evolving medical and martial technology.
